The launch edition of CYBERSEC ASIA x Thailand International Cyber Week 2024 (powered by NCSA) served as a remarkable convergence point for the cybersecurity industry throughout the 2 days on Jan 31st and Feb 1st 2024 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand, hosting a diverse array of over 58 leading brands from around the world and welcoming more than 2,200 cybersecurity experts and enthusiasts from 39 countries.
The present experts and leading companies in the industry included well-known brands such as M. Tech, Exclusive Networks, Palo Alto, Huawei, Microsoft and Google, which collectively contributed to the event’s dynamic and enriching atmosphere. Their presence underscored the significance of the event as a global platform for sharing insights, showcasing innovative solutions and fostering collaboration within the cybersecurity community. With their expertise and offerings, they provided attendees with unparalleled opportunities to explore cutting-edge technologies, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and forge valuable connections.
CYBERSEC ASIA x Thailand International Cyber Week 2024 (powered by NCSA) marked a milestone in Thailand’s cybersecurity landscape with an impressive lineup of 50 international conference sessions and workshops led by 61 distinguished speakers from around the globe. Covering a diverse range of topics, these sessions delved deep into the latest trends, challenges and innovations in cybersecurity. From discussions on emerging technologies to insights into cybersecurity governance and innovation, the conference provided attendees with valuable knowledge and actionable strategies to navigate the evolving cyber threat landscape. With engaging presentations and interactive discussions, this event fostered collaboration and knowledge sharing among cybersecurity experts, industry professionals, and enthusiasts, making it a truly enriching experience for all participants.
Amongst all present industry-experts, the top 5 countries with most participants were from Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, India and the United States, whilst welcoming business delegations from Israel, Russia, Laos, Myanmar, Japan, Nepal, China and many more.
This demonstrates that the event not only aims to raise cybersecurity standards within the country but also encompasses the entire Asia-Pacific region as per the event’s objectives to elevate cybersecurity standards on digital platforms.
Air Vice Marshal Amorn Chomchoey, the Secretary-General of NCSC at the National Cyber Security Agency, Thailand and a representative of the Prime Minister stated that “The whole world has a rising concern for the cyber threat. According to the World Economic Forum Report, it was predicted that cybersecurity is the major concern for the whole world. Hence the need to have such a conference, not to showcase only the technology but to connect experts together.
