BYOND MOBILE to increase its international attendance by being held in September 2022

BYOND MOBILE is set to become the meeting place for the 5G ecosystem, where industries can connect with established suppliers and disrupting start-ups. Its aim is to provide insights and strategies for business leaders seeking to explore and evaluate the latest technology solutions and services that drive necessary innovation. This fast-emerging industry needs a yearly physical touchpoint to discuss the latest developments, newest policies but also network among like-minded business owners, entrepreneurs, network specialists and solution architects from all across the globe entering Southeast Asia.

Reasons for re-scheduling BYOND MOBILE are related to global COVID situation

With easier entry regulations for international travelers coming into Thailand, the signs were interpreted as a very positive development to conduct a safe and international B2B event in June in Bangkok, Thailand. Thus, even with the facilitated Test & Go program, international travel is still hesitant and demand only increases slowly.

Relatively high number of new COVID cases globally and yet remaining business-travel restrictions from companies led to a close consideration and discussion with our partners and customers. The clear indication is, that an event of the planned and expected scale would be of bigger success in the second half of this year, with surely more business opportunities in the outlook. The delivery of a productive event with high-class content and international audience is considered more realistic and appealing to the customers with the new date 28-29 September 2022.

New dates will benefit attracting the international network industry

As for BYOND MOBILE, the organizers are working on a forward-driven solution in order to provide an international and unique experience in Bangkok. ‘All details and additional benefits for a bigger gathering of the industry in the second half of this year will be communicated in the coming days.’ adds Palka.

As the original concept of the event was designed before the outbreak of the COVID19 pandemic, the organizer together with the partners have decided to adapt the event-concept in order to cater to the fast-evolving trends and demands surrounding the 5G industry. An adaption of profiles and verticals is needed to fully accommodate the 5G related industries and ensure sustainability and satisfaction for all stakeholders involved.

Preparation time until September will increase the right value proposition

By moving the event to 28-29 September, organizer and partners will use the additional time for a thorough preparation of specific content related to the fast-evolving 5G industry in Southeast Asia, supported by the ongoing series of webinars and BYOND Thursday’s networking nights for the industry to gather in smaller groups in a casual environment.
